	Mason Sand This versitile material is also known as builders sand or sharp sand. Mason sand is used in masonry mortar for setting stone or brick and when brushed between blocks or brick provides a firm fit. This sand is also good for filling kid's sandboxes, storing root crops, and breaking up heavy soils. For whichever use you have in mind, Madison Block & Stone always has plenty on hand.

	Soil Additives Madison Block & Stone carries a large selection of products for improving the soil in your yard and planting beds. We also custom blend soils to your specifications.
Organic Soil Additives (For water & nutrient retention & soil structure improvement.) Peat Moss (pH 3.4 to 4.8) Holds up to 20 times its weight in moisture. Composted Rice Hulls (pH 5.4 to 5.7) Holds up to 56 times its weight in moisture. Inorganic Soil Additives (For water & nutrient retention, soil structure improvement, drainage improvement.)
